Description
The hydraulic power potential determination of dumped waters from thermal power stations and cogeneration plants, designing and production of the recuperative hydraulic turbine with performance objectives, carrying out experimental-industrial check on the thermal power station with the cooling pond.

Innovative aspect and main advantages:
When significant excess of a power station site over water line in a water-supply source, the usage of energy of the dropped waste water can be provided (recuperation). The recuperation is carried out either by the hydroelectric power plant allocation on an tailrace channel or using of hydraulic turbines as the drive part of circulating pumps. Today the energy of dumped waters from cogeneration plants condensers is recuperated nowhere of 14 powerful thermal power stations and cogeneration plants of Ukraine which include a cooling pond.

Problem solved:
Necessity of effectiveness increase of thermal power stations and cogeneration plants at the expense of an additional power generation in volume terms, which proportional to the rated capacity of the hydraulic turbine and operation of aggregate of thermal power station and cogeneration plant.

Prototype with favorable lab results
