Startup School. The work continues!

July 30, 2014 were held a meting with the heads of the investment fund AVentures, where was presented two startups from «Sikorsky Challenge» business incubator

-  TechnoEyes - a system based on mobile applications for the development of routes to help visually impaired people to navigate in space

MYOG - a device designed to detect movements of hand and forearm. The device can be used for interaction with mobile uchtroystvami that will use the new features in the management of games and applications. 

Submitted startups have developed teams of participants of the first issue Startup School Sikorsky Challenge (details about the teams and their projects) 

AVentures Capital ( - a fund that invests in companies in the growth stage, as well as the early stages of development. The Fund is managed by serial entrepreneurs and experienced professionals in the field of investment. AVentures Capital takes into consideration and work with investment-attractive projects of the CIS countries. During the presentation startupinvestment company were Andrew Kolodyuk - serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, a graduate of the Kiev National University. Taras Shevchenko and NTU "Kiev Polytechnic Institute", and Dmitry Okhrimchuk - a specialist in the field of investment and development of high-tech projects.


The meeting took place, as they say in the Soviet period, in a warm and friendly environment :) and failed in every sense.
Guys once again to hone their skills in the presentation and the ability to find convincing answers to unexpected questions investors. Investors, in turn, prompted the guys those areas in the implementation of their starapov that will make projects even more financially attractive to investors.
The specific results of the meeting too early to say. It was the first stage of "dating." There is still a lot of meetings, discussions, work. But the first step has been taken, and this is very important.
